| The project involved studying and suggesting a suitable scheme to replace 21,000 linear metres of sealant between the marble cladding of this world famous monument at New Delhi. Falcon International were called in after the originally selected applicators abandoned the difficult application leaving the management with a large stock of NON STAINING SILICON SEALANT .The Difficult aspects were to custom design and fabricate access equipment at site which took into account the curves and slopes on the exterior at this site, and of course talking is not allowed while working inside and a prayer is going on !! The experience is unforgettable.The Monument is a wonder of Architecture By the reknowed architect Fariboz Sabah.
This entire project was completed without any safety issue for about 21,000 (Running metres on the exterior and interior ) Existing silicon sealant removed and specialised NON Stain NON Bleed Sealant Installed as per specifications . The stains that were present in the marble due oil migration from the existing sealant were removed and the white shade restored .
The correctly installed sealant has sucess fully survived about 3 years of exposure to DELHI s climatic conditions satisfactorarily.
